US Lumber, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our VALUES based organization. As a Warehouse Associate - Cutter, you will be responsible, at various points, for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, transporting and otherwise handling products that come into and move out of the warehouse.  Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other Associates and productively with little supervision.  

Responsibilities & Essential Functions: 

  • Safely operate forklifts or other machinery (chainsaw) in order to complete assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting material.
  • Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track and trace issues.
  • Follow U.S. Lumber safety policies and procedures and encourage others to do the same. This includes performing daily forklift safety checklists.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Required credentials:     

  • Minimum of two (2) year warehouse distribution experience.
  • Prior lumber experience desired. Engineered Lumber experience is preferred.
  • Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred, but not required.
  • Must have basic math and analytical skills
  • Must be computer literate, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Self-starter, pro-active and able to take initiative.
