U.S. Lumber, an SBP brand is currently hiring a 2nd shift Dispatcher to join our VALUES based organization in Greenville, South Carolina. This position will be responsible for determining truck loads, routes, and dispatching drivers. In this role you will focus on:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Coordinating daily delivery schedules.

· Determines truck usage, routing of truck runs and dispatches drivers.

· Recommends appropriate truck runs for new customers.

· Determines loading dock availability for special runs.

· Coordinates special instructions to loaders.

· Monitors grid and daily reports for overloads, loading errors, driver callbacks.

· Coordinates truck inspections and maintenance with mechanic.

· Responsible for all driver D.O.T. qualification files

· Collects pre-employment, post-accident, and random drug results for drivers.

· Investigates and writes accident reports for supervisor approval.

· May have to complete truck runs, pick up drivers, or trucks.

· Complete other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 3 years warehouse and shipping experience coordinating regional and local deliveries.

Computer Skills: General computer knowledge including warehouse management software. Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Certificates & Licenses: Forklift operator certification

Other Requirements: Must be able to read and write in English

CDL License helpful, but not required
