

Responsibilities
- Ensure safe, on-time, and cost-effective transportation of shipments.
- Enforce DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards in all operations.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor drivers and transportation staff.
- Coordinate routes, schedules, and equipment to meet operational goals.
- Lead team meetings, safety discussions, and site inspections.
- Manage contract compliance, KPIs, and vehicle requirements to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor performance, conduct accident investigations, and implement corrective actions.
- Review expenditures and KPIs to support cost control and profit growth.
- Oversee fleet maintenance, preventive care, and equipment utilization.
- Maintain accurate records of licenses, certifications, and safety compliance.
- Prepare and present reports on operations, safety, and financial performance.
- Build a positive team culture with strong employee engagement and recognition.
Starting Pay Range: $70,000 - $90,000
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of transportation management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and FMCSA regulations
- Ability to balance safety, efficiency, and cost management in a fast-paced environment
