U.S. Lumber, and SBP Brand is currently looking for a Product Manager to join our VALUES based organization.

Starting rate $60,000 - $80,000 base with bonus based on experience. 

Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Authority on all products
  • Identify, establish, maintain and improve relations with vendors
  • Leverage relationships to garner exclusivity, market advantage, and special terms, rebates, and discounts
  • Proactively solicit and supply sales incentive and spiff programs from the vendor to the sales force to promote a product line
  • Establish and maintain ongoing record of review for vendor performance
  • Single point of contact for supplying information to the sales force from the vendor and vice versa
  • Act as a product trainer to the sales force
  • Reviews marginally performing products and makes recommendations
  • Analyze new product potential
  • Inventory management
  • Maintain consistent market competitive costs
  • Other duties as assigned Competencies:

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Working environment consists of an office work space which is conditioned but may encounter various degrees of heat or cold, light and dust.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 90% of the time.
  • Must have the manual dexterity to continually use a computer keyboard and mouse, calculator, and phone; as well as other office productivity machinery, such as a printer and copy machine.
  • The person in this position needs to be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • May infrequently move or lift boxes (e.g. paper, office supplies, etc.) weighing up to approximately 25 pounds.

  • Ability to learn skills quickly with a mature and service oriented attitude.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
