Specialty Building Products is currently looking for an Office Coordinator to join our VALUES based organization. We are looking for an energetic and highly organized Office Coordinator to be the welcoming face and heartbeat of our office. This role is ideal for someone who loves creating positive experiences, keeping spaces running smoothly, and helping teams feel supported and connected. You’ll manage the front desk, coordinate day-to-day office operations, and ensure our environment reflects our culture.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

Front Desk & Guest Experience

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and team members.
  • Greet guests warmly, manage check-ins, and provide exceptional hospitality.
  • Handle incoming calls, mail, and deliveries efficiently.
  • Maintain the front desk and lobby areas to ensure a professional and inviting appearance.

Office & Facilities Management

  • Oversee daily upkeep of the office, ensuring conference rooms, kitchens, and shared spaces are organized, professionally inviting and fully stocked.
  • Partner with building management and vendors for maintenance, repairs, and cleaning services.
  • Manage office supplies, snacks, and kitchen inventory.
  • Support office safety, security, and space management initiatives.

Team Member Experiences & Recognition

  • Plan and support internal events, celebrations, and team-building activities.
  • Support auditing and reporting for our employee recognition program.
  • Support holiday gifting activities.
  • Welcome new hires and direct them on Day 1.  
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance the overall employee experience.

Conference Room Coordination

  • Manage scheduling, setup, and technology readiness for meetings.
  • Ensure rooms are tidy, well-equipped, and reflect our professional standards.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an office or customer-centric environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a natural host and problem-solver.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in office software (Outlook, Excel, Teams etc.).
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and genuine passion for creating great workplace experiences.
